Bailey’s Irish Cream Tiramisu
Adapted from Nigella Express by Nigella Lawson
As you may have noticed, I am back on my blog with new Nigella’s recipe. I was a little bit absent recently but I have never stopped cooking and I have so many new interesting recipes to share with you. But today I am proposing you a recipe which was chosen as a Cookalong February Recipe on Nigella’s forum.
We are going to make Nigella’s Irish Cream Tiramisu. I admit I haven’t made tiramisu for ages. If my memory is good, I made it a couple of years ago for my birthday party. Since that time I have never made it again but it doesn’t mean that I didn’t eat it at all. Every time I turn to be in an Italian restaurant, I always opt for tiramisu. The best tiramisu I have ever eaten in my life was the one I tried in one of the restaurants in Rome. It was divinely good. The recipe I am proposing you today is an absolute delish. I slightly changed the quantity by halving it as I made it only for me and my hubby. But I kept 2 eggs as per the recipe. As for a dish, I preferred making tiramisu not in a big pyrex dish but in individual bowls: that’s why the quantity were adapted for 4 people. I didn’t use strong espresso coffee as I am not a big fan of it: I made my coffee less strong and it went perfectly well with Baileys which kept its creamy coffee flavor. Believe me, Baileys is perfect for this recipe: it brings lots of taste and creaminess.
My verdict: It’s a must- try recipe. If you are having guests, make it beforehand and keep it in a fridge for a night.
For 4 individual bowls you’ll need:
1 cup of espresso coffee
120 ml of Baileys cream liqueur
1 package of Savoiardi (I used approximately 20-25 cookies) or other ladyfingers
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of caster sugar
250 gr of mascarpone cheese
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
How to make tiramisu in 10 steps:
Step 1: Make coffee in your coffee machine or use instant coffee to get 1 cup of coffee. Transfer it in a shallow dish. Let it cool.
Step 2: Add 100 ml of Bailey into coffee. Mix.
Step 3: Separate the eggs. Whisk yolks with 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 4: Add the remaining 20 ml of Baileys into yolks. Fold in mascarpone. Combine well until well-blended.
Step 5: Whisk the whites until white and thick.
Step 6.Add the whites into the mascarpone mixture. Combine all gently.
Step 7.Briefly Dip Ladyfingers in coffee mixture and place 'em On the bottom of baking dish. Step
8.Spread half of mascarpone mixture over Ladyfingers.
9.Continue Step With The layer of Ladyfingers Covering Them With mascarpone mixture.
Step 10. With cocoa powder and sprinkle chill for at least 2 hours.

Last year during my trip to Italy, I tasted one of the most delicious tiramisu and fudge I've ever eaten in my life. It was in a restaurant in Rome.
Back to the recipe. I chatted with two quantities, but as I kept 2 eggs indicated in the original recipe. I do not do not like coffee very strong. So I made weaker. As for the dish, I have not used a great dish because I reduced the quantities. I preferred using individual glass cups. This is because the proportions that I give you are for 4 people.
For 4 people, you will need:
1 cup espresso (= 250-300 ml)
120 ml Bailey's 20-
25biscuits spoon

How to achieve this creamy dessert in 10 steps:
Step 1: Prepare your coffee with a coffee machine or using instant coffee.

Tiramisu tasteful Bayliss prescription Naydzhily Lawson
Time flies so fast that I did not notice that my last recipe was published in early January. During this time I was in Greece, and you probably have already read my story about a culinary tour in Athens. And if not, hurry up! Do not forget the photos, which will reflect well all my cooking descriptions of Greek dishes. In the near future I will share with you a Greek recipes that I have managed to make at home.
And today we do not go to Greece, and Italy, from where is the recipe znamentitogo Italian dessert called Tiramisu. This recipe was selected recipe month of February on the forum Naydzhily Lawson, and I had to cook it and share your experiences with forum users svom site, which also prepared this recipe.
I confess I have not cooked tiramisu. Probably the last time it was a couple years ago. But this does not mean that this remarkable Italian cake pass me by. When I am in an Italian restaurant, it is often ordered. But the most delicate, creamy and airy tiramisu I ate last year in Rome. Yes, not udivetielno! Italians know and can, as tasty to cook. So, if you also want to visit Italy without leaving home then join us, and prepare this cake and treat them as yourself and your loved ones!
The original recipe is designed for 6-8 people, but I cooked it Makes 4 servings, served in individual glass salad bowl. Therefore, the number of products has been divided into two parts, except for eggs. As for coffee, I prefer his gentle and soft to taste. So I prepared a rather weak coffee. But if you're a fan of coffee, then cook it the way you love him.
Well, of course, it does not mention the very ingredient that gives coffee and sweet caramel taste to this dessert. Of course, we are talking about cream cream liqueur Baileys. If you have not turned Bayliss, then you can use any liqueur such as Amaretto. In the extreme case, you can cook without liquor.
should also be noted that in this recipe using biscuits "savoyyardi" (so-called "ladies fingers"). This is a sponge and a gentle air biscuits, sugar coated in the form of long, narrow sticks. If you have trouble pribresti cookies "ladies' fingers, then try to bake a homemade biscuit cookies. But as if you did not have any cookies and do not have time to bake it, try to replace it with the usual waffle.
layers of pastry in this recipe promazyvayutsya cream of Italian mascarpone cheese. If you find it difficult, then replace it with any soft cream cheese.
What I love about this recipe dessert, so this is what it is very easy to prepare, delicious and tender, and yet one of its virtues is that it can be prepared in advance, putting on a few hours in the refrigerator. So if you're expecting guests, then cook it in advance, so you will have more time to prepare other dishes.
So, to make 4 servings of tiramisu, you'll need:
1 cup cooked black coffee (= 250-300 ml)
120 ml of liquor Bayliss
20-25 pieces cookie "Ladies Fingers »
2 eggs 3 tablespoons sugar
250 grams mascarpone cheese
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
10 steps to prepare tiramisu:
Step 1: Prepare a large a cup of black coffee to your taste, using coffee or instant coffee. Allow to cool.
Step 2: Add 100 ml of liquor in his coffee.
Step 3: Separate the whites from the yolks. Yolks whipped with sugar until white

Step 5: Vsbit whites until very strong white foam with the mixer.
Step 6: Add a neatly vsbitye proteins in the cheese mass. All pins are mixed.
