L 'acido- Basic - Classification of Food

; Click here to go directly to the food chart acid-base.

chaque aliment peut être classé selon son acidité directe ou son potentiel acidifiant pour l'organisme
M balanced anger can be approached in multiple ways: In terms of calories, the cholesterol and its excesses, the intake of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, ... the list goes on . A branch of the dietary acidifier interested in the potential of our diet. You've probably heard: It the acid-base balance . With a diet too
acidifying and poor compensation for our lifestyle, the décrépititude apparently is never far away. For those who seek simply a list of acidifying foods or basifying, click here to go there directly. Otherwise, here are some explanations as a preamble.

mark 1
& # 160; Q hat is the acid-base balance?

Small overview of this branch of dietetics. To each to get his opinion.

Food can be classified into three groups should be well differentiated. We therefore find food acidifying , food acids and food basifying ( alkalinizing ). Acidification ground occurs when food or acidifying acids are made more as many alkaline foods in the body and that our metabolism is struggling to balance everything. Food is the main factor in acidification of the body . Some people are more prone to this process than others but a balanced diet and good oxygenation can limit the effect of acidity.

A principle of life continues to be a constant balance, the agency is looking for basic elements (as opposed to acidic) to bring its pH to neutrality . To help us or not.

Hummm La bonne pizza.. Dommage c'est acidifiant A problem of our contemporary diet (diet rich in meats, starches etc..) Is that it makes too much acid atoms. If our diet does not bring us items basifying to compensate our body will naturally draw on its rich reserves basic elements that are other than bone or muscle). You will understand, over time, year after year, it would result in general weakening and the calcium that is such a staple, will be gradually withdrawn little bones where joint problems and osteoporosis among other possible .... Other concerns seem to arise: when our body has trouble balance, excess acid elements can be stored in tissues (fast simplification, I say).

fruit et légume

Understanding: A food may be directly acidic taste like lemon, for example, but as a result of metabolism after digestion, it may instead become basifying for the organization. Also certain foods may have the effect of bringing a neutral pH in the mouth (see below a little reminder on the PH ) like cheese that is traditionally eaten this to end of a meal but after digestion will become acidifying the body. I will not go into details because the chemical processes that come into play are complex.

Ultimately Acidification is caused by our lifestyle including the following: le stress c'est acidifiant pour l'organisme

1. stress, overwork, lack of sleep, fatigue.

2. Poor oxygenation of cells, lack of exercise or sport. We must take the air: oxygen supplied to the body has sufficient property to burn the acids, hence the importance of regular physical activity that increases the rate and respiratory amplitude.

3. By binge eating acid and / or acidifying.

4. For lack of alkaline foods.

5. By overeating in general.

The authors suggest that low levels of acidification could result in the effect of demineralization or too acid concentration in various tissue disorders such as:

- Lack of chronic energy
- fatigue and nervousness
- Difficult to get
- inflamed gums and sensitive
-
Bad Breath - tooth sensitivity to cold, heat and acid
- Cavities and eroded tooth
- dull hair, hair loss
- dry skin, eczema and chapped or cracked
dry - brittle nails, brittle, split, scratched, stained
- cramps or spasms
- Disorders of joints
- Sciatica
- Increased sensitivity to pain
- Great susceptibility to infections
- Worsening
Osteoporosis - Symptoms approaching spasmophilia

Caution: The role of acidification seems demonstrated in the case of osteoporosis as a result of demineralization; about other symptoms, we must be careful because they may be due to other factors much more likely than a simple acid-base imbalance. Is to explore no matter what. Reduce the acidity of the body will in any way beneficial in the long term.

Caution: Do not confuse acidosis, chronic low-level generated by an unbalanced diet, stress and lack of exercise, with the true metabolic acidosis which is a much more serious disorder, linked to dysfunction of kidney or type 2 diabetes.

The best way to naturally maintain a neutral pH is to eat a slightly less rich in animal proteins and cereals and higher in vegetables (fresh and dried).

Le citron c'est acide, mais une fois digéré c'est souvent basifiant

Reminder on PH: PH
is the potential of Hydrogen, is with him we can determine whether something is acidic or alkaline (basic). Our stomach at pH 2 as an example. Luckily there is a scale to know what it is.

This scale ranges from 0 to 14. Halfway is neutrality, that is to say 7. More people tend to 0 more acidic the solution, the greater the tendency toward 14, plus the solution is alkaline.

The large intestine is 8.
The small intestine is 6.
Blood must always be balanced between 7.32 and 7.42.
In our body we have acidic ions (which can neutralize the alkali) and molecules
alkaline (alkali or bases) that may combine with the acid ions to neutralize the solution. Our body

constantly strive to maintain this balance.

mark 2
; & # 160; ; L ist of acidifying foods and basifying

NB: There is great controversy over the classification of foods according to their characteristics acidifying or alkalizing. That is why there are several classifications acid / base. list is not exhaustive, it is suitable for everyone to learn about a particular food if you decide to eat regularly.

The general rule in the context of a balanced diet acid-base is to strive to consume about 70% food basifying to 30% acidifying foods while attending to other food balances: vitamins and minerals, fats, antioxidants etc. . Good juggling ...

Very basifying : These foods are unfortunately few, they are the most ; alkalizing. They
& # 160; ; must therefore be consumed as much as possible within a system
& # 160; acid-base balance.

Soon basifying :
These alkalizing foods are less but they can be eaten
& # 160; ; & # 160; regularly.

Shortly acid: These foods are acidifying, admittedly few, but avoid eating them in
& # 160; ; & # 160; large quantities and without daily balance with
& # 160; alkalizing.

Very
acidifying :
These foods are the most acidifying, so they should be consumed with
; & # 160; ; moderation.

acid **:
These foods are somewhat apart because they are directly acids
; & # 160; ; in the mouth but once metabolized, they may in some
; & # 160; people become more alkalizing acidifier for
& # 160; ; the body.

Note:

cariogenic foods like ** acid, which then attack the tooth enamel, can be offset by food have an alkalizing effect in the mouth - The mouth of basic foods include: cheese, fluorine, wine, bananas (but because of cariogenic their sticky and sweet), bread, cocoa, to name a few. The problem during digestion they become acidifying to the body ... (see table).

Council my dentist by the way, for those interested: Do not brush your teeth immediately after consuming a food acid type, it would do much more harm than good The enamel is softened by the acidity, it is better just to rinse and wait 30 minutes for brushing.

As you can see we really deal with. The comment section is at your disposal if you want to clarify. click here to return Part of the article giving some explanation on the acid-base balance.
