Pasta with Nettles and festivities Swedish

Obs! Finns på svenska Originalreceptet i slutet av Texten.

First my apologies for the last comments ... I did not respond due to time, but I have read with great interest. A big thank you to all!

Although winter rears its nose and picking nettles is hardly news, I wanted to publish a small recipe spring experienced during my last trip to Sweden and set aside with a few photos schedules. This is an opportunity, after all, take a little ahead and prepare for future harvests! Spring has arrived so quickly ;-)

~ ~ Pasta with nettles
According to the recipe Nibble Trädgård ,
a place that I already mentioned there .

Ingredients:

Serves 4

* 2 l of fresh nettles (From memory, it represents about 4 large handfuls, but I will say it in the spring when I do it again!)
* 1 clove garlic
* 10 cl cream
* freshly grated Parmesan
...

1 ~ nettles Rinse with clean water and put them in a saucepan. Cover with water (level) and cook about 10 minutes. 2 ~ Drain and reserve cooking juices. 3 ~ Finely chop the nettles and then fry in a pan with some garlic fried in butter. 4 ~ Add 10 cl of fresh cream, stir and bring to boil. 5 ~ Finally, add the Parmesan and pour a little cooking liquid, stirring to desired consistency, then serve immediately with a steaming plate of pasta, seasoned with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper.

~ ~ Pastasås med nässlor

Ingredienser:

4 pp.

* 2 l nettle
* garlic (to taste)
* crème fraiche or cream
* grated cheese / parmesan

1 ~ Cook the rinsed nettles around 10 minutes. 2 ~ Pour the broth but keep it if you want to dilute the sauce. 3 ~ nettles Chop finely and mix with chopped butter fried garlic. 4 ~ About 1 cup creme fraiche or cream and heat to boiling point. 5 ~ lift to the side and move to end down freshly grated ost spad med om Du vill ha nässelspadet "sea" SAS! Gott!

Until the spring as the time is in the preparations for Christmas (and God knows it's important Sweden), I urge you to go take a look at the Swedish Church which offers a lineup at the Christmas season. 26, 27 and 28 November , you can enjoy the Julbasar (Christmas market) to do some shopping exotic, you know the culture Swedish sipping a glass of glögg (mulled wine) and finally enjoy a taste of Scandinavian smoked salmon, pickled ginger cakes, cheeses and breads Swedish reindeer and elk ... in a typical Swedish!

Finally, 11 and December 13 , you can attend (by appointment only ! ) to parade St. Lucia and Christmas concerts in the presence of the Swedish church choir.

Children ages 6 to 12 guests will take the path of the Swedes Cultural Institute to attend various workshops (registration required also ):

* Christmas Workshop December 11th from 14h to 17h : making decorations, making cakes and confectionery ...
* Workshop of St. Lucia on December 12 from 14h to 17h: Children participate in this festival of light by making decorations and disguising themselves for the traditional parade of St. Lucia.

As for me, I will take the direction of Stockholm on December 1 for a complete immersion winter :-)
