J ' would have loved to give you a full account of my recent tribulations Swedish, but I have to go to Obviously I'll never find the time to get harnessed. For not more drag (it's been one month), so I resolve to present a selection of photos with anecdotes ... all delivered in bulk, with the lot: rural scenes, walks through the city, some places "favorites" hearty lunch and an overview of the Swedish housing in all its forms: -)
~ Kungsholmen seen since the heights of Södermalm (Coastal Trail) ~
early June, the city was booming. Between the endless parade of trucks packed with students who claim their success caps and the many events set up at the wedding of Princess Victoria ... difficult to know where to turn.
When they are not parading students, are members of the royal family that engage attention. Here we see the king Carl XVI Gustaf and his wife Queen Silvia.
Here, Princess Victoria along with her prince charming ... It was a few days before their wedding is celebrated.
~ Part bathing on the island of Långholmen ~
Perched on the heights of Långholmen the small garden opens grouped under the name Koloniträdgårdar offer a pleasant walk.
Since Slussen, the best way to reach the island of Djurgården is to take the boat. The crossing takes only a few minutes and can be seen in passing the island of Kastellholmen dominated by its beautiful citadel.
A must on the island of Djurgården: Rosendal gardens or Rosendals Trädgård . I do not go to Stockholm without stopping at least once!
Remember ... my last visit Rosendal dated November (to review photos, post here). Stockholm was still buried under snow, but the days were already cold, wet and dark. I then found shelter under greenhouses in the glow of candles and the big wood stove. In early June, the atmosphere was now quite different.
On the menu this time: rökt makrillfilé or smoked mackerel fillets ...
Other gourmet break in the district of Södermalm : Gårdarnas Butik . I know the place for me to be arrested several times already, but I discovered that it was now possible to eat ...
A slate that day: a stew of fish (salmon / halibut) and parsnips served with a basket of boiled eggs, fresh bread and a delicious sauce made of small beans and yogurt ... all for a whopping $ 75: - (about 8 euros)!
All products sold here are from organic farming and cultivated Sweden on a small scale, in compliance with the seasons.
Also in the district of Södermalm , but in a small side street well hidden, I found this store freshly installed: Industry Hello. This is a Brand New Swedish design created in 2009 and offers as part of his first collection, a range of luminaries signed Wagele Jonas ... No doubt, I'll be back!

The resort located a few kilometers from Stockholm is accessible from Slussen by an old train that carries the name Saltsjöbanan . The ride alone is worth it!
Another essential step of this trip to Stockholm Sjöstad Hammarby, an eco neighborhood located south of the city opposite the island of Södermalm . The most pleasant access them is to go to the docks Norra Hammarbyhamnen with bus 55 and then take the boat (free) to make the short crossing.
Once on the other hand, we find a completely renovated former industrial area where all the buildings were constructed taking into account the HQE and where all materials, consumables and the sewerage system meets the strictest environmental standards.

To find this place, he must leave with the Stockholm Pendeltåg (equivalent to our RSP) and alight at Ulriksdal . Castle, gardens, cafe, nursery ... the place is not without charm, especially at this time of year when days are longer and can enjoy.
A metal structure erected in open fields, some curtains, a swing and cushions embroidered ... it has all the appearance of a mirage, but the vision is real!
Everyone is free to come to rest before or after going through the box " restoration" ... Here, the best formula is the vegetarian buffet at will for 135: - (about 14 euros).
For fans of Swedish porcelain, like me, the Gustavsberg factory is a step not to be missed. There is a museum that presents services and unique artwork, produced between the years 1827 and 1993, but also classics created by leading designers of the plant as well as many lesser-known reasons, but equally remarkable .
To get there from Stockholm, there should be a good hour away, but access is by bus very easy since Slussen.
is undoubtedly the most visited tourist stay, but I could not do the impasse over again. Since the time I go to Stockholm, I had never penetrated .. so it's done!
I must say I liked the old reconstructions of old shops and trades :-)
followed by a visit more authentic in the Stockholm area, towards Gnesta ...

Unable to move past the birches without a thought for Maija Louekari ;-)
~ Behind that big rock, lies a small wooden house that houses a sauna ... ~
The place is almost inaccessible without a car (I tried it once and you'll catch me do), but it is well worth it to venture because the architecture is unique its kind.
Once in the vicinity, as well enjoy it to a stop in Salt Kvarn located nearby and which I had already spoken twice by and there.
For lunch: pasta salad with smoked salmon ... a simple dish, but incredibly good!
